🦡 Macbook Pro 15 Battery Replacement Cost
My previous MacBook pro was a 2015 one and it lasted me 4ish years and on that comp the power cycle only reached around 1000. I wanted to get my battery replaced so I went to apple store (after making an appointment) they did a diagnostic test on my laptop and saw the battery life was at 84. For them to replace it, it had to be below 80.
I dropped my 2015 15” the other day she said she was able to discount it to “only $200”, but that’s the normal cost for the battery replacement. Apparently Apple does like to charge $500 or so in case the battery damaged other components ($500 being their “flat rate repair everything” cost, whereas $200 is the battery only).
