๐Ÿ† Beyerdynamic Dt 990 Pro Vs 770

The 990 has higher highs in particular. To me this made it sound sibilant (/ harsh) and was the main reason for the sale. It's a bit more open - the soundstage is better, but imaging is comparable from one to the other. The 880 has smoother treble and a better low end (but neither model excels here). The 770s are a lot flatter and are definitely suited more for production. The M50xs are very bass heavy and high heavy. They are more suited for live DJ-ing. Also, a lot of people have said the 770s are a lot more comfortable to wear for long periods of time, since they fit completely over most people's ears. While the Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO and the Drop + Sennheiser/EPOS PC38X are both great choices for neutral sound, the Drop are a better choice for wired gaming. The Drop have a boom mic to record your voice clearly, even in moderately noisy environments. They're also more comfortable and have a mic as well as volume controls. However, the Beyerdynamic are better built. The Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO X has a somewhat odd flavor of studio frequency response with how it emphasizes the 50-300Hz and 2kHz-20kHz ranges. If thatโ€™s an issue for you, youโ€™ll want to look elsewhere or take the time to EQ your sound. However, this kind of response is really appealing to two demographics: gamers and mixers. The headphones are also fairly lightweight for their size, but the shape of the frame does not allow any folding of the headphones. Overall, the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pros are most likely the best affordable studio headphones you will find. Beyerdynamic really blew the competition out of the water with these headphones. I mainly use headphones for on-the-go producing and the DT990s are so much more comfortable than the M50X's. My ears would always start to get sore around the 2 hour mark but with the DT990's I have no such issue. The Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO and the Philips SHP9500 are both very good audiophile headphones if you like a neutral sound, but they have different sound profiles. The Beyerdynamic reproduce more bass, but they sound fairly sharp and even piercing to some people. The Philips have a significant bass roll-off, but their treble is much better balanced, and they have a more natural-seeming What is the differnce between DT 880 PRO and DT 990 PRO? Why does my DT 770 / 880 / 990 PRO have mismatching Logos on Product and Packaging? Why does my DT 770/990 PRO have another connection cable with a smaller thread? Which amplifier or interface should I consider to buy to get the best sound out of my DT 770/880/990 PRO with 32/80/250 ohms? ATH M40x VS Dt770 Pro. I'm trying to get into hi-fi audio and after extensive research, these two headphones are the most reasonable for me. If I were to get the m40s I would definitely mod them (earcups, cable, etc.) whereas I probably wouldn't mod the dt770s so the price would probably be around the same. beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO Over-Ear Studio beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO Over-Ear Studio Monitor Headphones - Open-Back Stereo Construction, Wired (80 Ohm, Grey) $169 beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO 250 ohm - LIMITE beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO 250 ohm - LIMITED EDITION (Black, Straight Cable) .
